The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Hong Kong Hong KongDescription
Since 2015, the Department of Social Work has been collaborating with Operation Santa Claus (OSC) and UBS to provide an integrated NGO Leadership Programme (NGOLP), targeting executives and managers of small to mid-size NGOs in Hong Kong, and corporate participants who are interested in the social sector. In the past four years, NGOLP has trained 103 participants from 87 organisations and created a lot of outstanding service projects.
With the affirmative support from different stakeholders, an Industry Forum - NGO Leadership: Innovation & Social Impact will be organized on 4th December 2018 at the CUHK to promote the Programme to an international level. Its purpose is to form partnership among stakeholders of the Programme, the government, international scholars and policy makers. It serves as an idea-exchanging platform through sharing of philanthropy and social innovation practice from the perspectives of academia, governments and funders.
We sincerely thank our co-collaborators, UBS and OSC, as well as our generous sponsor, GPISM, for supporting our mission and making this Forum possible!
